We're excited to welcome Sara Bjornson, owner of Time in the Valley and host of the Unpolished Empire podcast, with our very own Jill Lawrence, CWBN Co-Founder, and owner of Wildcoast Web Design and Mindfulness with Jill, to share a practical and approachable workshop on how to use AI to save time, spark creativity, and simplify everyday tasks.


If you've been feeling overwhelmed by content creation, admin work, and the constant mental load of running a business, you'll love this workshop. From automating repetitive work and generating content ideas to meal planning, travel planning, and organizing your week, you’ll walk away with real tools you can start using immediately — no tech background or paid subscription required.

This month, we'll be supporting the local non-profit, Cowichan Valley Youth Services. They are looking for the following items, which you can bring to our event to donate:


Non-perishable snacks

  • Individually packaged snacks (e.g., mini pepperoni or jerky, Goldfish crackers, granola bars, pretzels, cheese and cracker packs)

  • Juice boxes

  • Freezies

  • Individually wrapped candies (sour candies, mints, toffees, etc.)


Travel-size personal hygiene items

  • Small sized shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and face moisturizer

  • Deodorant

  • Tampons


Country Grocer Receipts

  • The Save the Tape program gives the organization 1% of total collected receipt values back in the form of Country Grocer Gift Cards.

    Spotlight your business at our event! For just $40, you’ll receive a table to decorate, sell products, or share promotional items, plus up to 2 minutes to introduce your business to attendees. Only 5 tables are available per event - reserve yours early! Showcase tables are reserved exclusively for members.
